Fairmont, W.Va (WDTV) - 2:13 A.M. UPDATE: David Hunter Lewis has been taken into custody on Fairmont Avenue, according to the Fairmont Police Department Facebook page. The post on Facebook also says the 20-year-old victim “has succumbed to his injuries.”

ORIGINAL STORY: The Fairmont Police Department are searching for a man after a shooting incident on Bryant Street.

The alleged suspect is David Hunter Lewis. He is a white male, 6′4″ and weighs 150lbs.

According to the Fairmont Police Department Facebook page, he was seen wearing a blue jacket with white shoes, he has a partially shaved head with blue on the tips of his hair.

He was seen last headed East towards the College Lunch on Locust Avenue. He could be driving a 2006 Maroon Saturn Ion.

The shelter-in-place order has been lifted for those in the area, according to a post from the Fairmont State University Facebook page.

The post also says there is no indication the suspect was on campus but advises people in the area to stay indoors.
