NEW DETAILS: Woman arrested after lengthy standoff, firing shots at police
FOUR STATES, W.Va (WDTV) - UPDATE: New details have been released after a woman was arrested after an hours-long standoff with police in Marion County.
Authorities received a call around midnight at a home near Brick Hill Rd. in Four States that 41-year-old Michella Strickler had shot herself in the foot, according to a criminal complaint.
During the standoff with police, Strickler reportedly fired five shots at authorities from inside the home. Some of these shots were allegedly heard in the trees next to officers.
The standoff ended around 7:15 a.m. Tuesday, authorities said.
The standoff prompted a shelter in place advisory from Marion County Emergency Management for several hours.
Strickler has been charged with five counts of wanton endangerment. She is being held at North Central Regional Jail on a $200,000 bond.

No injuries were reported.
Numerous law enforcement agencies responded.

Authorities are advising some Marion County residents to stay inside their homes due to ongoing police activity.
Homeland Security is telling people in the area of Portland Lane, Brickhill Road, and Mortar Street in Four States to stay inside their homes, according to a message shared by Marion County Schools.
All these roads are in the area of Four States Road.
The message says school bus routes will be delayed.
It says people should remain in their homes until further notice.
While officials have confirmed few derails, there is a reported standoff at a home in the area.
