Ian Roth is the newest anchor at WDTV. He's a graduate of Millersville University in Lancaster, Pennsylvania but calls Long Beach Island, New Jersey home. Before he sat behind the desk in the 5 News Studio, he worked in Minor League Baseball for the Lakewood BlueClaws as a scorekeeper and production assistant. His love for live broadcasting started early, listening to the late Harry Kalas call Philadelphia Phillies games on summer nights. He pursued his dream at school, anchoring hundreds of hours of closed cable programs and getting to know the community through his reporting. Now, he hopes to do the same here in West Virginia.
